Teladoc Health beat Q3 earnings expectations and raised its 2026 outlook, driven by BetterHelp's accelerating shift from cash-pay to insurance-covered mental health care. Revenue came in at $605M — down 3.4% year-over-year but above guidance — while adjusted EBITDA jumped ~14%. Shares surged nearly 27% on the news.
Teladoc Health had a stronger-than-expected third quarter, beating Wall Street on both revenue and profit and sending its stock up nearly 27%. The virtual care giant is in the middle of a major strategic pivot — shifting its mental health platform, BetterHelp, away from out-of-pocket payments toward an in-network, insurance-covered model — and the early results are encouraging.
BetterHelp's insurance revenue hit $32.1M in Q3, topping management's own forecast of $25M–$31M. Meanwhile, the company's integrated care segment posted steady growth, with adjusted EBITDA margins expanding to 18.8%. Teladoc also acquired Teledigm Health to expand its "hybrid care" model — combining virtual technology with in-person clinical settings — into U.S. hospitals and health systems.
