Centene is taking its CHOICE Arrangements benefits program — which lets employees pick personalized health coverage — to Ohio and Oklahoma in 2027, after a successful rollout in Indiana. The model, built around individual coverage health reimbursement arrangements (ICHRAs), gives workers more flexibility in choosing their own plans. Centene's ICHRA-focused arm, Ambetter Health Solutions, is also expanding employer CHOICE Arrangements to four additional states.
Centene is doubling down on personalized, employee-driven healthcare. The insurer announced it will expand its CHOICE Arrangements program — formally known as Custom Health Option and Individual Care Expense Arrangements (ICHRAs) — to employees in Ohio and Oklahoma starting in the 2027 plan year, following a successful launch in Indiana in 2026.

CEO Sarah London framed the expansion as proof that "coverage should be as unique as the people it serves."
