A voice AI startup wants to fix Medicare's messy enrollment problem. CareCycle has launched Match Your Medicare, a free, no-account tool that helps beneficiaries compare plans based on their doctors, prescriptions, and costs — with no sales calls or commissions involved. It arrives as forced Medicare Advantage disenrollments have surged to 10% in 2026, leaving millions scrambling for new coverage.
A voice AI startup is taking aim at one of Medicare's most persistent pain points: beneficiaries signing up for plans that don't actually cover their doctors or drugs. CareCycle has launched Match Your Medicare, a free tool timed to Medicare's Open Enrollment period that lets users compare up to three plans side by side — no account, no sales calls, no commissions. Users simply enter a ZIP code, date of birth, and gender, and can optionally add their prescriptions and health conditions to get personalized yearly cost estimates.
The tool is a direct response to what careCycle's AI agents hear most after enrollment: surprise drug exclusions and unexpected costs — issues that, as CEO Alex Doonanco puts it, are "answerable in about ten minutes before you sign." The company argues that current enrollment incentives are misaligned, with agents rewarded for volume rather than quality matches, leading some beneficiaries to switch plans multiple times in quick succession.
By the Numbers:
Why it matters: With forced disenrollments skyrocketing and millions of seniors facing coverage disruption, tools that help beneficiaries make informed choices — free from sales pressure — could meaningfully reduce churn and improve health outcomes for one of the most vulnerable patient populations.
