Making GLP-1s more affordable just got a tech upgrade. Electronic prescribing platform Interra Health announced it now supports CMS's GLP-1 Bridge Program, which allows eligible Medicare Part D enrollees to access GLP-1 medications for just $50 per month. The program launched July 1, and Interra's integration aims to take the guesswork out of navigating it for both providers and patients.

Here's how it works: when a provider is in the middle of prescribing, Interra's platform flags whether the patient may qualify for the Bridge Program, walks the provider through the required prior authorization steps, and ensures the correct codes are submitted — all within the existing prescribing workflow. Interra was formed earlier this year through a merger of DoseSpot and Arrive Health, combining e-prescribing infrastructure with drug coverage and pricing intelligence.
