Dato-DXd shows striking brain metastasis benefits in triple-negative breast cancer
A new analysis of the TROPION-Breast02 trial finds that first-line Dato-DXd nearly tripled CNS progression-free survival compared to chemotherapy in immunotherapy-ineligible TNBC patients with brain metastases. The drug also delivered a 62.5% intracranial response rate vs. 37.5% with chemo in patients with measurable disease. These findings add to growing evidence that Dato-DXd — already FDA-approved for metastatic TNBC — can meaningfully tackle one of the disease's most feared complications.
