Long-term data from the PALOMA-2 trial show that subcutaneous amivantamab plus lazertinib delivered a 70% overall survival rate at 36 months in patients with previously untreated EGFR-mutated advanced non-small cell lung cancer. That compares favorably to the 60% 3-year survival seen in the MARIPOSA trial — and without chemotherapy.
Long-term results from the phase 2 PALOMA-2 trial, presented at the 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer, show that subcutaneous amivantamab combined with lazertinib delivers durable, clinically meaningful efficacy as a first-line treatment for patients with EGFR-mutated advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) — and does so without chemotherapy.
With a median follow-up of 33.1 months, the median overall survival (OS) was not yet reached. The 36-month OS rate of 70% compares favorably to the 60% seen in the MARIPOSA trial, which tested the same drug combination. Patients also responded strongly, with a 90% objective response rate and a median progression-free survival of 26.1 months.
