Forus, an AI-powered health tech startup, just closed a $150M Series C round led by Bain Capital Ventures, tripling its valuation to $3B just four months after a $160M Series B. Total funding now exceeds $300M.
Forus builds AI agents that sit inside provider workflows and handle everything between a doctor's clinical decision and a patient starting treatment — prior authorizations, appeals, insurance navigation, financial assistance, and pharmacy routing. It's free for both doctors and patients, and is now active across all 50 states, reaching 85% of U.S. residential zip codes.
Originally launched in dermatology, Forus has since expanded into gastroenterology and autoimmune conditions, and is now pushing into oncology, neurology, and primary care. The company also works with nine of the top 15 global biopharma firms to help get new therapies to patients faster.
