Telehealth giant Hims & Hers has launched branded GLP-1 weight-loss drugs and men's health treatments in Australia through its newly acquired Pilot platform. The expansion follows Hims' acquisition of Australian digital health company Eucalyptus, and aims to improve access to preventative care — especially in rural areas. A women's health segment is also planned for later this year.
Telehealth company Hims & Hers has officially entered the Australian market, offering branded GLP-1 weight-loss medications — including Novo Nordisk's Wegovy and Eli Lilly's Zepbound — alongside a range of men's health treatments. The launch is powered by Pilot, the Sydney-based men's telehealth brand that came with Hims' acquisition of Australian digital health platform Eucalyptus earlier this year.
The move is designed to improve access to preventative care for Australians, particularly those in rural areas where travel and wait times are significant barriers. Hims plans to consolidate services that customers previously purchased separately and introduce new treatment options. A women's health segment, via Eucalyptus' Juniper brand, is expected to launch in Australia later this year.
By the Numbers:
Why it matters: Hims & Hers' Australian expansion signals a broader push by U.S. telehealth companies to globalize access to GLP-1 therapies and digital health services — a trend that could reshape how patients in underserved or rural regions access weight-loss and preventative care worldwide.
