He comes from health navigation and care delivery company Accolade, where he spent five years as EVP of care delivery and chief health officer. The role had been vacant since October 2025, when his predecessor Kate Goodrich departed for UnitedHealth's health services division.
Nundy brings a notably diverse résumé: he's advised the FDA on AI, worked as a senior health specialist at the World Bank, led the nonprofit Human Diagnosis Project, and still practices primary care at a community health center serving low-income patients in Northern Virginia. He also teaches at Stanford Healthcare and Johns Hopkins' business school.
At Humana, he'll focus on clinical strategy, product design, and AI integration — all critical as the insurer works to streamline operations and recover from years of elevated medical spending.
